Join War On Want On To The Second UK National Food Sovereignty Gathering

I received an e-mail from the International Programmes Director of  War On Want Graciela Romero back on 2nd September which paved out in brief the way to joining the The Second UK National Food Sovereignty Gathering.In this post,I am posting the content of the e-mail that might help you to initiate your incentives for the cause so mentioned.

" Dear Miss Biswas,Join us at the second UK National Food Sovereignty Gathering.
Across the UK hundreds of groups, workers’ cooperatives and food activists are changing the way food is produced, processed and distributed.
War on Want is proud to be part of the movement of people who have had enough of industrialised, unhealthy food, and the political decisions which allow multinational corporations to destroy our food and planet.
Back in 2012, War on Want was involved in the first UK food sovereignty national gathering at which the UK Food Sovereignty Movement was born. Since then the movement and its members have shown that another food system is possible.
We have also managed to expose how the UK government is using tax payer’s money to support multinational corporations to plunder resources in Africa.
This year we are running the second Food Sovereignty Gathering on 23-26 October in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. Join us for four days of sharing experiences, building skills and knowledge, sharing meals, and action-planning to help building a sustainable and fairer food system.
