I received this e-mail back in last week but as usual,I did not even have the time to go through it until now.Had I read it then,I would have not thought for 20 miliseconds to post this.I was myself shocked enough by the photograph included but it arouses a feeling of injustice much more than fear.We want help from enthusiastic and well educated volunteers,from Spain to help those families who are searching for their lost members.This is more painful than anythin and if you are noticing the inconsistency in my words,then I would not have to re-mention that such things are supposed to shock young people who are just learning about the world and human beings.And it shocks the hell out of me.
Please help them to bring the justice that still is possible.They paid with their lives,we can do this much to let people know that they are the people who were killed,killed unjustly,killed by brainwashed,criminal psychopaths.

BY OPENING THE GRAVES OF WAR AND FRANCO


Twenty-nine national and international, within the scope of Historical Memory, entities ask political parties that are presented to the forthcoming general elections in December 2015, include in their electoral programs the following claims:

1. URGENT Signaling all the graves of the Civil War and the Franco period.

2. Immediate opening of all the graves and DNA sampling for the thousands of citizens looking for their family members have the possibility of recovering their remains.

3. Make it charged to the general state budget.

4. Municipalities should work best with the Historical Memory providing all available information about plot and polygon numbers, owners, permissions on excavations in the municipality of temporary expropriation of plots if the owners or negative But not finding them, and make available to associations, historians / and researchers / as all historical, ultimately, all the material and human resources for this purpose.

5. Associations of Historical Memory exert a role of collaboration and control.
We can not forget that Spain is the second country in the world after Cambodia, with more tanks unopened. After so many years, so much pain from a cruel, unjust and unnecessary civil war, us the shame of the thousands of graves remains unopened. Our fellow citizens lie in ditches, barren and elsewhere. We believe it is an act of Justice, Reparation and Reconciliation urgent: to dignify the victims.

At present, a representation of the undersigned organizations, are initiating a round of interviews with political parties with parliamentary representation.

Por la apertura de las fosas de la Guerra

Veintinueve entidades nacionales e internacionales, pertenecientes al ámbito de la Memoria Histórica, pedimos a los partidos políticos que se presentan a las próximas elecciones generales, de diciembre de 2015, que incluyan en sus programas electorales las siguientes reivindicaciones:

1. Señalización URGENTE de todas las fosas de la guerra civil y del periodo franquista.

2. Apertura inmediata de todas las fosas y toma de muestra de ADN para que los miles de ciudadanos y ciudadanas que buscan a sus familiares tengan la posibilidad de recuperar sus restos.

3. Que sea con cargo a los presupuestos generales del Estado.

4. Los ayuntamientos deben colaborar todo lo posible con la Memoria Histórica aportando toda la información disponible acerca de números de parcela y polígono, de propietarios, de permisos sobre excavaciones en su municipio, de expropiaciones temporales de parcelas en caso de negativas de los propietarios o bien, por no hallarlos, y poner a disposición de asociaciones, historiadores/as e investigadores/as todos los archivos históricos, en definitiva, todo el material y recursos humanos para este fin.

5. Las asociaciones de Memoria Histórica ejerceremos un papel de colaboración y de control.

No podemos olvidar que España es el segundo país del mundo, después de Camboya, con más fosas sin abrir. Después de tantos años, de tanto dolor provocado por una guerra civil cruel, injusta e innecesaria, nos queda la vergüenza de las miles de fosas sin abrir. Conciudadanos nuestros yacen en cunetas, yermos y otros lugares. Creemos que es un acto de Justicia, de Reparación y Reconciliación inaplazable: dignificar las víctimas.

En estos momentos, una representación de las entidades abajo firmantes, estamos iniciando una ronda de entrevistas con los partidos políticos con representación parlamentaria.
