Kavitha Lankesh Talks About The #MeToo Movement In Sandalwood And Section 377

Hello everyone! It has been quite a while since we've had an elaborate (or as a matter of fact, even a brief) conversation. I had been trying hard to keep up with the pace of life which translates to my obsession with exams and how well you deal with them, a conference that is going to be organised up in Arunachal Pradesh on 15th November, the editorial work I've been doing at The 1947 Partition Archive and finally, a sort of concise research paper broadly on linguistics and everything else that stream can associate itself with.

To be brutally honest, I have also been trying to read other things amidst that and the coming winter months are no good for people with respiratory problems. Out of everything that happened in a haze, I had no idea how to keep up the writing here and I still haven't figured a way out very concretely.

However, there was the second part of the interview that I had had the chance of being a part of last month with noted film director and late journalist Gauri Lankesh's sister Kavitha Lankesh. It was a continuation to the conversation we had last year and the last version was issue specifically directed towards feminism, women's rights, sexuality in general, decriminalisation of section 377 and the #MeToo movement. Below, I am providing the links to all three articles, which have been published in Youth ki Awaaz. Do give them a read!

1.The first conversation a month after Gauri was assassinated
2. The Second conversation, a follow up to the one conversation we had had last year
3. Issue specific part of the interview on gender rights

Let us know in the comments below or via email if there is something that you would like to talk about. We are also welcoming political, well-versed, deep and engaging articles this season for the blog. Something very interesting is coming up
by the end of this year. Stay tuned to know more.
